Allow more than 5 discounts

At this time, you can only create up to 5 automatic discounts using Regios Automatic Discounts.
This is due to restrictions placed by Shopify. We don't know if or when they will remove or relax this limit.
However, we plan to communicate with Shopify to get clearer communication on the reasons behind the limit, and whether there are any plans to adjust it.
I encourage you to comment on or subscribe to this thread, so you can stay updated on the progress.

Unfortunately, we will have to close this thread.
As mentioned before, the reason we can't support creating more than 5 discounts is not because we don't want to; it's because it's simply not possible.
This GitHub discussion thread, where developers have asked Shopify to support creating more than 5 discounts in Shopify Functions, has been open for well over a year, with no ETA.
In order to declutter our feedback board, we will close this thread. By doing so, we will be able to focus on other issues that are possible and within our control, and making Regios Automatic Discounts as good as possible, given the current Shopify Functions limitations.
If Shopify adds this capability to their API in the future, we will revisit this feature request.
If this is something you need desperately, we strongly recommend you do the following to raise it to Shopify's attention:

Let me just say I love your Logic feature for your discounts but the major hurdle is the 5 discount allowance and I wondered if this is something that can be worked around.
I thought if in the Logic editor if it were possible to have multiple discounts for different collections.
SO it would be
AutoDiscount - customer info - then collection and eligible options - then discount
Then maybe you could have another collection logic come off the customer info with a different discount. I noticed you can have
The idea being you could say "Gold Level Customers" get 25% off books, 30% off ebooks, 50% off MP3s... etc.
Something like this would solve so many issues because I have different level customers and different types of products which make it hard to have interesting discounts. Plus our Gold level customers get 100% of our MP3s so right there they always have 2 discounts going.
Our company actually has 5 different levels of customers so being able to customize more things would be great. Don't know if it is possible but I thought I'd suggest it.

5 Discounts is disappointing. I don't understand it as we often use much more than this due to different customer types and levels.

We totally get your frustration with the 5-discount limit, but that's actually a rule Shopify puts in place, not us. We're in talks with them to hopefully sort it out soon.
In the meantime, have you tried our advanced logic builder? It's pretty cool and can help you set up complex conditions within a single discount, which might make things a bit easier for you.

Concerning this limit, I have a request : would it be possible for you to apply a dynamic discount based on a customer metafield ?
Indeed, I need to apply in Shopify the numerous contracts discounts I have (27).
Do you think this could be possible ?

Hi, we need to create around 20 discounts each corresponding to a contract discount pourcentage.
