Tobe Osakwe: That is correct, I have two separate discounts set up. The 40% applies to apparel, and the 20% applies to other merchandise (such as books, souvenirs, etc) - I have separated my products into collections for each of these. I would like for both discounts to apply in the cart when merchandise from each discount type is present.

Right now, for example, if the customer is buying books and apparel, only the 40% off apparel is applying and the 20% is not.

Kira Ferro: Do you have "Combinations" settings turned on?

You can use the "Combinations" options on the discount settings page to set your discount up to combine with other discounts.

When combining with other discounts, our app follows the same rules and limitations as Shopify's built-in discounts.

I should mention I am currently selling through Shopify POS Pro, in case that makes a difference.

I have tried working with the combinations, but they haven't had the desired effect on my discounts. As far as I understand the table on the Shopify Discount combinations page, what I'm trying to accomplish should work. I'd like to include some screenshots of what I have programmed and how they are applying; there are several so here is a Dropbox link to make it easier (let me know if it doesn't work for some reason)

No matter what I try, only one discount at a time will work in my cart.

For the 'EmployeeSale-POS' image, the Hoodie should be 50% off, and the other item, Savage Kingdom, is a book which should be 30% off. However, only the hoodie is discounted at 50% off.

If I remove the hoodie from the transaction, Savage Kingdom is then discounted at the correct amount.

In another example, 'Image 1-no customer' shows our "3 Postcards for $1.00" ringing correctly, and the dragon candle snuffer at full price. In the subsequent 'Image 2-with customer' when the Educator 10% discount has been added, the special is removed from the postcards and 10% off is applied to the candle snuffer.

In each case, my goal would be to have both discounts apply in the same transaction.

I wouldn't want the Educator or Employee discounts to stack on top of the postcard special, but I would want it to at least coexist without needing to be rung separately, which is our current workaround.
