Support Product Variant Metafields in Retail Location Discounts

It would be great if retail location discounts could support product variant metafields. Currently, the limitation makes it challenging to offer discounts based on stock status identified through metafields. This feature would enhance the functionality and flexibility of the retail location discounts, allowing for more precise discount applications based on variant availability.

Hi Zach,
Instead of making possible to use variant metafields in retail location discounts, we have done the opposite:
You can now use retail location conditions in metafield discounts, thereby achieving the same goal.

Unfortunately, we won't be implementing this at this time. Due to Shopify's strict input query complexity limit, we have to be extremely judicious about which features we add to the new discount types. Any new features can never be removed, and there is a hard cap on the number of features each discount type can support. At this time, there just isn't enough demand for us to add metafield conditions to retail location discounts.
